The GribCast

In the tenth episode of The GribCast, The Gribshnobler is joined for the first time by his friend The Contrarian. Together they spend most of the episode comparing Orson Scott Card's novel Ender's Game to the recent film adaptation.  Along the way they also ramble about Batman, other sci-fi and comic adaptations, and a few more random things.  Spoiler Alert!! We discuss many, many details of the book and film, including a description of the near end twist shared by both.

Since work on the Ender's Game episode has been delayed I thought I would go ahead and throw this out sooner rather than later.  The Gribshnobler and Little Miss Lady A watch another weird episode of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, "Bats", with Lady Miss Gee joining in the bewilderment later on.  Before and after the commentary I also share some more old midi music.

The GribCast's very first commentary episode!! The Gribshnobler is joined by Little Miss Lady A for a viewing of one of the strangest episodes of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.

Wherein The Gribshnobler and Lady Miss Gee interview the world-renowned gypsy punk musician T. C. Costello and share a few of his songs.  If you live in or near Murrels Inlet, South Carolina then you can catch him performing at Rockin' Hard Saloon, Monday July 21st at 9 PM.  Note: though no explicit language is used some of the songs and conversation do reference adult situations and content.

The Gribshnobler and Lady Miss Gee discuss the rest of the books they read for Young Adult Materials, including: 13 Reasons Why by Jay Asher, Akata Witch by Nnedi Okorafor, Fruits Basket vol. 1, Your Own Sylvia, Yummy, American Born Chinese, Pride of Baghdad, Almost Astronauts, The Boy in the Burning House, and After Tupac and D Foster by Jacqueline Woodson, plus some geeking out about Isaac Asimov. Along the way they also share a couple songs by Electric Bird Noise and a classic Gribshnobler tune
