Graduation Advice

At a recent high school graduation I attended, the principal concluded his grad speech with these wise words, "Get off your phones; live your lives." STOP THE BLEED

On November 14, 2019, my daughter's high school experienced a mass shooting. Children died. Don't think that "it cannot happen to you." Because of my family experience and the current culture crisis, I just went through training with "Stop the Bleed" to get certified and become an instructor. Take Care

Sometimes in education, you need to make a quick pivot and let all the lesson plans for that day fly out the window. Today was one of those days. What my children needed was care and love and nurturing--not biomechanics or "PE" activities although I was able to use some movement to help calm them down after our opening discussion.
