After running our raffle and determining the winner of the wonderful Derek Melton blade, and after I spent some time talking about a neat and encouraging gift from a young man at Apologia, we turned to Roman Catholicism, Pope Francis, and the entire complex of Marian doctrines that are so utterly destructive to the gospel and to Christian experience. Unusual Saturday program, but travel is that way. Thanked the local churches I ministered in on this trip, then talked a bit about Wednesday's debate with Jared Longshore, and then finished up with a response to a denial of the imputation of the active and passive obedience of Christ in justification, along with providing a refutation of how that denial is a manifestation of -biblicism.-
