Each story takes you to a place that seems normal at first, but slowly turns darker and more unsettling. He creates an atmosphere where you can almost feel the tension in the air, like something bad is just around the corner. It's not just about scary moments, it's that slow buildup of fear that stays with you even after you finish

Because, you know, a lot of the films that are released are the ones that maybe you'd go see with your friends on like a Thursday night when you're 13 years old. And it was so cool that you got to get into a PG13 movie like those. Those types of sort of schlocky things. In the case of these two guys, I don't think that that's the case."

It's something that brings them sort of clarity and peace of mind, and they develop a friendship as they talk about fishing and then inevitably go fishing together. They hear about this place out by the Catskills called Dutchman's Creek. And it's said to be one of the best fishing spots ever."

Unlike your sort of conventional hero type flick, you know that the good guys are going to triumph in the end. That's not always clear with horror. And especially in the case of this year's film, the Substance, a movie that really kept me guessing till the very end."

Robert Eggers is just, I think, my favorite current horror director. He just manages to pack such a tremendous amount of dread into every single thing he does."

You know, they're better in a sense, but in the older ones, I feel like the jump scare is really good. It's like you are on the edge of your seat and you know something's going to happen, but you just don't know when it's going to happen."

So we always watch the nightmare before Christmas. That is a classic Tim Burton Halloween movie. I don't know if anybody kidde redo this movie. It just needs to stay as is. There's so many great films that were made before, but now we either see remakes or we see films that are just, you know, they are just trying to make money and, you know, they don't focus on the originality or the depth. And the ones that are actually worth watching, they don't get the credit they deserve."

However, I guess we gotta wait. He's ran out of funding for the third one, so the third is only halfway produced. Or halfway captured, is my understanding, because the number one performed so bad."

And I'm not saying at all that somebody's gonna go and act on that, but it does make some minds curious. So in that aspect, I believe that slasher movies can be very horrible for society."

So I knew it was something scary and I knew it was something that I wasn't allowed to watch. So I was probably, I'd say, ten years old. And I found nightmare on Elm Street. I think it was number three dream warriors, which is my favorite, by the way. It's probably one of the best ones."

I have lived in houses that have had spirits, I have seen spirits, I have been in the presence of good spirits and I've been in the presence of ones that are not so good. Lost spirits. I grew up in a home that talked about spirits a lot. So it's not something that is an odd subject to me. I don't think."
