A differently angled discussion on the subject of self-worth. You see, I did not see myself as having issues with that, not for a long time. I felt like my self-worth was quite intact... until I looked at it from a different vantage point. I realized that I did feel compelled to "prove" my value to others by fulfilling a practical role and being useful. It is a more subtle aspect of self-worth and self-acceptance, and it was quite surprising when I came across this deeply ingrained feeling

2. Understanding existence - The night it ALL made sense

This is my favorite story to tell. The night that, out of nowhere, I suddenly understood the whole of existence. I FELT the reality of the truth that so many spiritual teachings talk about. It was the most amazing and yet terrifying experience I have ever had! All in a random hotel room, when I was 19 and moving across the country all alone. 1. Musings on my voice and 8-year-old me

I've held my voice back for so long! In this first voice note, I just followed the impulse to speak whatever was on my mind that day. This was the first time I did this, and had not even thought of sharing it with anyone at all (so please excuse my excessive use of "Oh my god" and some other random annoying sounds. It's so funny how one thought leads to another... how talking about my voice led me to talking about old home videos and how "obnoxious" I thought little kid
