"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" was eventually released in 2016, to very mixed reviews. I absolutely adore it, the "Martha" connection reveal worked for me, even if it only temporarily paused their battle to join forces to defeat Lex and Doomsday. While There and Back Again is a great title, I'm more pleased with Battle of the Five Armies. It's definitely a war film, packed with one of the best action-heavy finales in film history. The cliffhanger at the end of Desolation was very pleasing, thankfully we only had to wait a year to see the next and final chapter. Man of Steel is still a mixed bag of nuts. Audiences praise the performance of General Zod, Lois, Supes himself, pretty much perfect casting all around.
