The year was 1990. Bull Tolson, captain of the Sea Toy and his mate Mike Day were fishing the very last day of the Pirate's Cove Billfish Tournament. Late on that last day they hooked up to a monster of a blue marlin. Knowing that it was still anyone's tournament to win, they fought that fish hard got it in the boat as fast as they could. In light of Hurricane Erin coming by the coast a few days ago, Capt. Marty tells a story from one summer day back in 1991 when he was the captain of the Reelin'. He and Capt. Mike Clarkin who was then the captain of the Fishing Frenzy got off to a late start with their charters out of Oregon Inlet. While out fishing, they were made aware of a pretty intense line of thunderstorms heading their way. Listen to what happened next!
