After college Cara worked in the oil and gas industry and when she found out she was pregnant, she used that as a perfect time to leave the corporate world. After being home with her daughter for about a year and a half, she looked for ways to bring some additional purpose back into her life. She started a fashion blog, and did that for a few years before transitioning into a home and DIY blog and she has never been happier.

Heidi is a spouse, mom of two, professor, ceramic artist and jewelry artist. Heidi found a love for ceramics and pottery at a young age and that has really just stayed with her. Her family was really creative when she was growing up and she has carried that into her own family. Now she is a professor at the University of Iowa and still creates both ceramics and jewelry.
