Also FAMU has three Rattlers that we are currently in the NFL and we hope this tradition continues. But they are the foundation at this point because it has been a while since we have seen this many Rattlers competing at the Pro Level. The Lady Rattlers had to travel to Alabama to earn a spot in the SWAC tournament. Also with graduation exercises looming FAMU tennis went to Athens, Georgia to play against the Bulldogs. Also FAMU baseball loses another series in baseball. All that being said FAMU was recognized in the State Capitol for what it's victories and I think this is a great chance to celebrate those things. Graduation culminates ones time in a particular place and is often a time for celebration. Graduation also opens opportunities for transition and to transfer ones skills to a new place. FAMU Softball is on the brink of closing out its season if the team does not get a win in Alabama and one of the best players on the team has hit the portal. After another disappointing NFL Draft which saw only one HBCU player get drafted. While we did see two FAMU players sign on with NFL teams the question has to be asked if FAMU can get players drafted. The FAMU Tennis team just brought home it's second SWAC championship of the season and a moral boosting defeat over JSU for those keeping track. Also FAMU baseball got a sweep of Mississippi Valley while the Softball team lost the weekend series to BCU. We also saw the FAMU ladies make some noise on the track while the football team brought in another position of need in the form of a Kicker from Stetson. Much to do about FAMU as we prepare for the end of the athletic season. #FAMU

The Transfer portal opened on Saturday and the Transfer portal has been really good to FAMU, especially on the lines of scrimmage. While this is taking place FAMU Golf fought hard at the SWAC championships but the FAMU Men's teams can't seem to get away from the Number Two. The Sun was definitely out on Saturday but we also saw tons of recruits visit the Highest of Seven Hills. For what it was the Spring game went as we would have expected with the Defense dominating the day. Beyond having to contend with a fierce defense we saw one or two players separate themselves from the pack. Additionally the FAMU Softball game provided a great experience while Baseball was in the Hills of Alabama walking the dawgs. Now what were the key takeaways and how can we improve
