Gauteng MEC for Transport, Kedibone Diale-Tlabela has urged commuters in Soweto to find alternative transport arrangements due to the resurgence of violence between the Nancefield-Dube West Taxi Association (NANDUWE) and the Witwatersrand Taxi Association (WATA). Commuters in Soweto were left stranded and forced to find alternative transport after WATA withdrew its operations after the department impounded 47 taxis.
