A woman who served 7 years in prison for murdering her drug dealer is now charged with killing her son in Gulfport. 68-year-old Jerri Lynn Roby was arrested in January of 2024, a month after her 42-year-old son was reported missing. Roby allegedly shot John Allen Gaither in the head, stuffed his body in a box, then boarded up the bedroom she kept him in. A central Mississippi woman will spend two decades in state prison after pleading guilty to intentionally poisoning an 84-year-old man with fentanyl.
