Cinema Smorgasbord

It's the first episode of HOW DO YOU DO, FELLOW KIDS?: THE CINEMA OF STEVE BUSCEMI where we'll be looking non-chronologically at the film work of beloved character actor Steve Buscemi. On the premiere episode we go back to the very first edition of Montreal's Fantasia International Film Festival to look at to feature length anime favorites. First Doug puts forward the astrological post-apocalyptic madness of 1986's FIST OF THE NORTH STAR, and then Liam serves up the ultra-violent, ultra-sexy, ultra-misogynistic WICKED CITY from 1987! On the premiere   episode we go back to 1971  for Jackie Chan's very first starring role: LITTLE TIGER OF CANTON.   Jackie was just 17 in 1973, but already an experienced actor since the age of 6, and had been working steadily as a stunt performer and  choreographer.
