Prelude and Fugue: Trinity Episcopal Cathedral’s...
It’s one thing to revere Bach — it’s quite another to play Bach’s complete organ works. Few organists attempt the challenge, which requires performing somewhere around 18 hours of concertos, trios, trio sonatas, chorale preludes and other pieces, some of which comprise the most difficult music an organist is ever tasked to play. It’s an extraordinary feat to play all of them, and, for Colin MacKnight, it’s been a lifelong dream.
