James Gunn steps in to write and direct the kinda sorta sequel/reboot of the DC property, is it the fil we should've gotten the first time? Is it a top tier superhero film? Is King Shark a Shark? Jungle Cruise Review

The Reel Pineapple ·

2021/08/02

Since Jumanji isn't enough, Dwayne Johnson wants to start another adventure franchise based on something hilarious, and since Emily Blunt doesn't want to play Sue Storm; he dragged her along for the ride....or the cruise as it were. Is this a thrilling ride, or is it more like the last Pirates film(god that movie was lame). Check out our review of Jungle Cruise! C'mon and slam, and welcome to the jam? Michael Jordan is back, *checks notes* wait it's not Jordan it's LeBron this time.....ugh lol. LeBron James stars as himself as he has to prove that he's not a terrible father, by beating........Al G Rhythm haha to defeat the Goon Squad and save the world. Is this a slam dunk, or is it a super dud? Check out our review of Space Jam: A New Legacy! The Reel Pineapple is your one-stop-shop for the hottest movie reviews, trailer reviews, and more! The Tomorrow War Review

The Reel Pineapple ·

2021/07/19

Chris Pratt is doing another sci-fi movie, but it can't be worst than Passengers can it? Pratt starts as a dad who's recruited to fight a war in the future, and JK Simmons is in it too, it's the #1 streaming movie on Amazon and that's an incredibly depressing statistic. Black Widow Review

The Reel Pineapple ·

2021/07/11

Marvel is back in the cinemas(and on Disney +, but only if you pay $30), isn't it crazy we're finally getting Black Widow? Scarlett Johansson or ScarJo as I call her we're friends, returns as Natasha Romanoff, and she's called back to confront her past by her sister Yelena played by Florence Pugh. This film takes some definite chances and risks when it comes to where general audiences think certain things may go, does it pay off or is it an unfit bookend to Natasha's story? Reel Fast Series Presents: The Fast and the Furious...

The Reel Pineapple ·

Time to gather your...comrades, and celebrate that it's been 20 years since The Fast and the Furious hit the movie screens, and Tank Tops and Corona(the beer not the virus) began to forever be burned subliminally into our minds. Say what you will about the franchise, but the film made over 200 Million dollars on a 38 million dollar budget, that's something Universal has(and should) brag about. To commemorate the 20th anniversary of its original release, check out our review of The Fast and the

A Quiet Place Part II Review

The Reel Pineapple ·

2021/06/01

Ssshhhhhhhhh, you have to be quiet, you don't want to end up like that kid with the rocket ship do you? Emily Blunt returns as Evelyn Abbott, leading her children through this new apocalyptic world, as we find out that the creatures may not be the only thing to be afraid of moving forward. Cruella Review

The Reel Pineapple ·

2021/06/01

Disney's version of Joker is finally here, or is it more The Devil Wears Prada? Emma stars as the titular villain, or perhaps she's not as big of a villain as we might think, as she looks to dethrone Emma Thompson's Baroness, but does she actually have a good reason perhaps for wanting to take her down? The Father Review

The Reel Pineapple ·

2021/05/17

Anthony Hopkins, pardon me SIR Anthony Hopkins is now a 2 time Oscar Winner, so of course we have to talk about the film that makes him now the oldest best actor winner. Hopkins stars as the main character Anthony(go figure) who is defiantly rejecting anything that his daughter, Colman's Anne is telling him; and the more he continues to reject his daughter the more that his grip on reality is unraveling. How both these characters respond to Anthony's decline is incredible to watch, and well worth
