As an adult viewer, I found the world-building in the movie to be slightly strange. It depicted a world where animals and humans can communicate and live together happily. However, as I watched Thelma and her animal friends work on a farm, including tasks like milking cows, I couldn't help but think about the eventual fate of these animals. Wouldn't they be slaughtered at some point? But I understand that the story is primarily targeted towards children, who might not grasp the irony or absurdity of
