My girlfriend Caitlin has grudgingly agreed to read the classic science-fiction novel Dune, by Frank Herbert. It's one of my favorite books of all time. Caitlin couldn't care less. It's just not her kind of thing. BUT! She is willing to read it and give her perspective as a not-male-nerd. Which is great, because I haven't met too many of those who have read Dune.
