They had asked or talked to a friend, talked to a therapist, and talked to ChatGPT about whatever was going on in their lives. The most empathetic response they received was from AI, not a human. I think what the tricky thing is though, is that in order to create a strategic plan that is effective in creating, but also in anticipating of how things can go wrong, that is important that you maintain the foundations of democracy, of government.
