Why not just stop naming things after people?

Standards change; what was acceptable in the past may not be acceptable now, and may change again in the future. I propose that we start using the Latin names of plants/insects/animals. I showed up at the March 18th meeting and found it very hard to get to. When they did show up they entered where very few members of the public had shown up.
