It's been said that worry doesn't take away tomorrow's troubles. It only robs us of today's peace. The general consensus is that worry isn't useful, and that we shouldn't waste our mental energy worrying. But to me that doesn't seem totally realistic. When I care about someone, I want to spend some mental energy thinking about them, praying for them, and figuring out how I can best love and serve them.
