Hallmark Mysteries & More ·

2026/05/16

We would love to hear from you. Send us your thoughts or suggestions. Robin Bernheim created Hallmark's biggest mystery franchise — Mystery 101 — and it was only supposed to be a one-off movie. Now she's back with You're Killing Me, a cross-generational cozy mystery starring Brooke Shields and debuting on Acorn TV May 18th. And Brooke herself picked the two-female-lead concept over the traditional cozy mystery formula. What you'll hear in this interview: • How Robin...

Hallmark Mysteries & More ·

2026/05/15

We would love to hear from you. Send us your thoughts or suggestions. Hope Valley 1874 wraps its first season with Episode 8 — "All That Glitters" — and Eric and Andrea have thoughts. There was a twist nobody saw coming, a boarding house dance that actually delivered, and a season-ending cliffhanger that one of us thinks is completely contrived. Season 2 is confirmed, but did this finale earn it? WHAT YOU'LL HEAR • The robbery twist: why Tom's former employee being ...

All's Fair in Love and Mahjong Review

Hallmark Mysteries & More ·

2026/05/14

We would love to hear from you. Send us your thoughts or suggestions. All’s Fair in Love and Mahjong hit Hallmark with a cultural controversy before a single frame aired — and then Hallmark went completely silent. Eric and Andrea watched the movie, gave it four stars, and have a lot to say about both the film and the network’s baffling decision to go dark when they could have controlled the whole conversation. What You’ll Hear • Why the cultural appropriation critic...

The Way Home Season 4 Episode 4 Review

Hallmark Mysteries & More ·

2026/05/12

We would love to hear from you. Send us your thoughts or suggestions. Dell just got thrown from her horse at the end of The Way Home Episode 4 — and she may have seen Colton in the woods right before it happened. Meanwhile, Julian is quietly reading Shakespeare's The Tempest, and we think that's not a coincidence at all. • Why Thomas showing up again has Eric half-convinced the entire show might be taking place inside Jacob's head — and why Andrea is absolutely not ...

Roan Curtis Interview: Stepping into the Hope Valley...

Hallmark Mysteries & More ·

2026/05/09

We would love to hear from you. Send us your thoughts or suggestions. Roan Curtis is making her proper Hallmark debut in Hope Valley 1874 — and she’s bringing everything: a love triangle fans can’t stop arguing about, a musical friendship with Jill Hennessy that turned into green room jam sessions, and the self-awareness to admit she would not last five minutes in 1874. WHAT YOU’LL SEE • Why Hope Valley 1874 feels like Roan’s real introduction to Hallmark — and how ...

Hope Valley 1874 Ep 7 Review

Hallmark Mysteries & More ·

2026/05/08

We would love to hear from you. Send us your thoughts or suggestions. Hope Valley 1874 Episode 7 had everything it needed to be the best episode of the season — a hostage situation, a tense Mountie standoff in the woods, and a slow-burn romance finally showing its hand. So why did we finish it feeling kind of empty? Eric and Andrea break down what worked, what completely fizzled, and whether they'll be back for Season 2. WHAT YOU'LL HEAR • The Mountie standoff in th...

Kentucky Roses with Andrew Walk Review

Hallmark Mysteries & More ·

2026/05/06

We would love to hear from you. Send us your thoughts or suggestions. Kentucky Roses was the most hyped Hallmark movie of the year — and Odette Annable is the reason it paid off. Eric gives it a 4 out of 5 and Andrea gives it a 4.5, but it’s the moments neither of them expected that have both of them talking. • Why Odette Annable’s nonverbal performance in Kentucky Roses had Eric completely reversing his skepticism — and the specific moments that made her feel genui...

The Way Home Season 4 Episode 3 Review

Hallmark Mysteries & More ·

2026/05/05

We would love to hear from you. Send us your thoughts or suggestions. The Way Home Season 4 has done something the last two seasons struggled to do — it’s making us actually care again. Episode 3, “Dust in the Wind,” is the most layered installment yet, and Eric and Andrea have a lot of feelings about it. Chief among them: Fern is not who she appears to be, and someone needs to talk about the Cassie theory. What you’ll see in this episode: • Why Season 4 feels more ...

Hope Valley 1874 Episode 6 Review

Hallmark Mysteries & More ·

2026/05/01

We would love to hear from you. Send us your thoughts or suggestions. Eric and Andrea are back in Hope Valley — 1874 edition. Episode 6, "Common Ground," gives us a boarding house with actual curtains, a courtroom scene that lands, a horse that does not, and Rebecca finally hitting a wall. Literally. Two episodes left in season one and things are starting to come together. Mostly. What we liked: the boarding house is looking genuinely charming, Benjamin Ayres and that horse had a very short ...

The Way Home Season 4 Episode 2 Review

Hallmark Mysteries & More ·

2026/04/28

We would love to hear from you. Send us your thoughts or suggestions. Young Fern showed up in 1925, called Kat “Kitty Cat,” and immediately became our favorite character in the entire series. This is The Way Home we’ve been waiting for. Eric and Andrea dive into Season 4, Episode 2 — “Blinded by the Light” — where Kat lands in a new era of Port Haven history and the mysteries are stacking up fast. In a role reversal from their usual dynamic, Andrea is all in, and even the show’s biggest skep...

We would love to hear from you. Send us your thoughts or suggestions. Eric and Andrea are back to break down Episode 5 of Hallmark's new frontier drama — "Finally Home" — and they've got thoughts. Rebecca finally opens up to Tom about who she's running from (spoiler: it's complicated and it's 1874), Clayton and Olivia get a little steamy over some woodworking, Alexander is trying to keep his cool, and Hattie gets a safe cracker who really wants his full dollar. 2026/04/22

We would love to hear from you. Send us your thoughts or suggestions. 💌 A teacher and an archivist decode Revolutionary War-era love letters in Philadelphia. Likeable leads, a fun premise — and a script that couldn't quite get out of its own way. Eric and Andrea review To Philly with Love, starring Rebecca Dalton and Stephen Huszar. Andrea gives it a 2-star verdict. Eric lands in a similar place. Both of us really liked the leads and wanted them to have a better movie to be in. What worked:

The Way Home Season 4 Episode 1 Review

Hallmark Mysteries & More ·

2026/04/20

We would love to hear from you. Send us your thoughts or suggestions. Kat and Alice both fall in the pond — and come out in two different timelines, face-to-face with Fern. That ending alone has us hyped for the final season of The Way Home. Eric and Andrea break down The Way Home Season 4, Episode 1 — the start of the FINAL season. Andrea is fully back on board and loved the premiere. Eric is more skeptical, and this episode didn't change his mind about Kat. What worked: the graduation flas...

We would love to hear from you. Send us your thoughts or suggestions. The goats delivered. The humans? It’s complicated. This week we’re back in Hope Valley for “Trading Places” — the episode where Rebecca applies her medical skills after Nash breaks his leg, strikes an accidental bargain to plow a field for lumber, and somehow ends up doing the job of about six people at once. Hallmark Mysteries & More ·

We would love to hear from you. Send us your thoughts or suggestions. Eric and Andrea review A Royal Setting starring Jen Lilley and Dan Jeannotte, and this one didn't land. Despite two charming leads and an entertaining supporting cast, A Royal Setting checks every single royal movie box without bringing anything new to the table. Fake country, questionable accent, overbearing royal assistant, commoner gets sent away, commoner comes back. You've seen it before. You'll see it again. The high...
