I talk about another crazy day that happened. I went to see the Brothers Osborne play at State Fair. They got in most of their set in between rainstorms. I almost didn't go to the show, but the ticket was pricy enough and Henry said, "What's the worst that can happen? You get wet?" So I went to the show and the music was so good. While I was there, Bill kept trying to get a hold of me, so I called him back as I was leaving. Craziness was going on in his world too, including an extended power outage

I talk about how 1/3 of a very large tree came crashing down on my roof last night during a straight line windstorm. It was absolutely terrifying! So far the damage seems minimal, thank the Lord, but it is a massive tree that is covering my entire backyard. I'm pretty sure it's sitting on my power lines, but we still have power. I didn't know if I should leave the house or stay. I'm not sure what to do right now. (Ultimately, I called the insurance company and got that ball rolling.)
