Antibiotic timing at CS: New Data

Historically, CS prophylactic antibiotics were given after umbilical cord clamp and cut to prevent exposure of the neonate to antimicrobials. The recommendation then changed, in line with typical surgical practice, to give prophylactic antibiotics before skin incision.
