The United Nations Special Representative to South Sudan, Nicholas Haysom has called for the implementation of a national disarmament program to remove small arms from the hands of civilians. Haysom was speaking at the opening of the 7th Governors' Forum in Juba. Special Representative Haysom further called for initiatives to address communal violence.
