Change is afoot at the former Pizza Hut building along U.S. Highway 75 and state Hwy. 23 in Pipestone. The building had most recently been an antique store called nine Vintiques, which was owned by LeWayne Carlson, of Marshall. Robin Schulte recently opened a longarm quilting studio, called The Lofty Stitch, in her Pipestone home. The Brookings native said the quilting business is her “side hustle” for now and her full-time job is with Pathward, a corporate bank in Sioux Falls. Second person charged in 2022 fentanyl death

A second woman has been charged with murder by selling fentanyl in relation to the November 2022 death of Justin Rops, of Pipestone. Civil War veteran to be honored in Jasper

On the north side of the Jasper Cemetery is a small, white, weathered stone with a metal star that says Veteran. On the stone is the name William Ellis Stork.
