It was such a joy to bring my Midnight Run-Through pod guest Alan Sepinwall back to Watch With Jen to chat about his brilliantly engrossing, brand-new, page-turning biography of Rod Serling, hitting shelves next week. The much-heralded collaboration between Alejandro Inarrito and Tom Cruise is vastly underperforming at the boxoffice and has met with insanely polarized reactions from critics. Is this the sort of film which landed at the wrong time, but will find a massive audience at a later date?

Josh is back from vacation and created an episode revolving around some of his favorite aspects of the trip. And of course there are some movie lists as well. Jack was given no prep, no doc, he was just told to show up. Part of this is to give Jack a break because he held down the fort with two solo episodes (much respect), and the other part was just to keep jack on his toes with no prep. The world’s most famous cabaret, the Moulin Rouge, opened its doors in Paris on 6th October, 1889. Founded by Joseph Oller and Charles Zidler, the club was originally called the Jardin de Paris and featured everything from art galleries to operettas, live tableau and an opium den.In the era of the Belle Epoque, however, the venue became most associated with the scandalous can-can dance, which actually originated in London but found its home in Montmartre. In this episode, Arion, Rebecca and Olly

This week, the guys take a look back at "Flags of Our Fathers," the first of two movies Eastwood would release about the battle of Iwo Jima in 2006.For this one, Clint sets his eyes on the men who were photographed raising the flag in the midst of the battle, or at least, that's the story we in America would hear. The movie gives us a chance to examine our history with WWII movies and the national mythology they play into, sometimes erasing a more complex and tragic history.Audio clip
