Anybody can be happy when everything's going their way. But only true joy can come from God when you're in the middle of suffering, grief, and heartbreak. In this message, Pastor Rick explores how God's peace can flood into the most chaotic of circumstances.

Some tears fall where nobody sees them. You wipe them away, take a breath, and keep going. People may never know how much you're hurting—but God does. Psalm 56:8 says, "Put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?" What a beautiful picture. Your tears matter to God. He knows the tears of disappointment. The tears of loneliness. The tears you cried over someone you love. The tears that came when you didn't even have words to pray. God saw every one. You never have to explain your

It's about what ultimately orients our entire lives. Augustine said, "Love is the weight by which we act." He described love as a force that pulls us toward whatever we have made most important. What we love shapes what we pursue,
