Paul Lind from Idaho, is an interesting guy. His family has been heavily involved with the Western States Endurance Run since it became a foot race. His dad, Dr. Bob Lind was the medical director for many years and since 1978 started every race with a family 20 gauge shotgun until the year he passed. Paul took over those duties after that. Miles With Marty Podcast ·

2026/06/22

Ary Rochon is a huge part of the Florida Ultrarunning Community, a FUR. He is coming off a big win at the Lake to Ocean 100K that takes place in late May from Lake Okeechobee to Hobe Sound Beach along the Lake to Ocean Trail. This is one of the most iconic races in Florida because of the variation of habitats, the challenging terrain which sometimes consists of significant amounts of water, and of course south Florida heat and humidity in early June. But it doesn't end there...
