Creativity – Part 2: Finding My Voice

Our Leadership Voices: Uncut ·

2026/10/05

In the first part of Creativity, Faye described writing as her medicine - something that stayed with her while so much else in her life was changing. This time we explore another part of that journey: finding her own voice. There’s the voice of B. Baskerville, the author putting her stories out into the world. And there’s Faye - on the boat with Rob, meeting new people, returning to old friends and family, and perhaps becoming a little less concerned with who she used to be or who...

Creativity – Part 1: The Medicine

Our Leadership Voices: Uncut ·

2026/09/28

We’re leaving Forbidden Grief behind and beginning the final part of my conversations with Faye - Creativity.Faye once described writing as her “medicine”, and that’s where we begin. We explore what writing gives her, where the stories come from, what happens when she disappears into another world, and how creativity remained a thread connecting the woman she was with the woman she is becoming. This isn’t really a conversation about how to write a book. It’s about what happens to us when we create -
