She knew what her top three were. She had the list. She'd circled the things. Matter of fact, she'd stared at them WAY too long. And somehow… she was still stuck. So I started asking a few different questions. Because when you've already tried the obvious productivity advice and you're STILL sitting there thinking, “Okay, but what the heck do I actually do??”... I want to know what's underneath that. 😂 That's where these HD redos get fun. Same question - different woman - very different

You Can't Just Hope This Biz Setup Works Itself Out

The Unbusy Mom: Because you’re ambitious, you want to... ·

2026/10/05

You don't just hope your funnel works. You don't just hope your team knows what to do. So why are you hoping your kids behave, your husband knows what you need, your routines somehow settle down, and your life magically gets streamlined next year? It won't. You have to decide what you actually want your Tuesday to look like, then structure it. Because “busy” was never meant to be your operating system. And if you keep waiting until you're hair-on-fire enough to make the changes, you're probab...

She thought she needed to get her motivation back - which immediately made me curious. Because what if you don't actually need to get yourself fired up again?? What if there's something about this particular season that we should pay attention to instead of trying to bulldoze our way through it? This one got into ambition, desire, rest, and that very weird feeling of knowing you could be doing more…. ....But not actually wanting to. We took a very normal coaching question and then asked, “Oka...

What if you're not actually avoiding the work? You know the thing. You KNOW what needs to happen. You sit down to do it. And suddenly you need to reorganize something, check something, think about something, possibly make a cup of coffee…. 😂 This reading got into that whole “why the heck can't I just DO the thing?” problem and what might actually be going on underneath it. Because this is where Human Design gets interesting. You can ask the exact same coaching question and get a completely

2026/10/01

Okay. I've been doing these little chart readings for everybody ELSE…. 'Til I thought, “Hang on. What happens if I do it for MYSELF?” 😂 So that's what I did. And I got to hear myself say all the things I tell everybody else. Like: “How can I let this be easy?” “You probably need to delegate that.” “You don't actually have to be working every day.” “Stop building your life around somebody else's definition of consistency.” Kinda rude. 😂 So yes. I did my own reading. Come listen to me turn the

What if you stopped needing the next thing to work? What if you could just… try it? What if you didn't have to know whether it was going to work before you started?? What if you could treat the whole thing like a little experiment? Try something. See what happens. Get the data. Try again. This reading really got into that energy - especially because once we looked at her actual business and life, there were some VERY obvious places to release that pressure. Some people look at a business and go, “Wow. This is working.” She looks at it and goes, “Okay, but what's missing?” 😂 What are the gaps? What could make this better? What else needs to happen? And when I saw that pattern in her reading, I wanted to talk about what happens when that way of seeing becomes your default setting. Because it can be an incredible gift - especially when you’re in business for yourself. Come listen to me pick this apart → Today's shout out: Tania Bartolini's podcast

For the Love of God, Just Have the Darn Coffee

The Unbusy Mom: Because you’re ambitious, you want to... ·

2026/09/28

Where did our moment-by-moment enjoyment of life go? Somewhere along the way, we started making our own happiness conditional on the next revenue goal, the next launch, the next metric, the next thing we can prove. And meanwhile, there’s a whole world of quiet, daily happiness happening around us. The coffee. The deep-focus work you actually enjoy. The kids playing. The beautiful afternoon you almost missed because you were trying to squeeze one more thing in. If you’re realizing you’ve built...

This woman sees problems EVERYWHERE. Gaps. Things that could work better. Processes that could be cleaner. Ways to improve the whole darn thing. And I don't think the answer is to get her to STOP doing that. 😂 I think we need to see what happens when she stops treating that part of herself like a problem. Because there are people who naturally see what could be better…. And how else are the systems gonna get fixed?? Listen to the reading → Today's shout out: Megan Tobler's Steal These 3

She was trying to figure out why she kept wanting to do so many different things. And underneath that was this constant little voice going: “But is this actually safe? Do we have enough time? Do we have enough support? What if...?” So we had a very interesting conversation about the difference between a brain that's genuinely scattered… and a brain that's trying to make sure you've thought through all the angles before you move. 😂 Plus the whole “why are you trying to focus on one thing when

Okay, this one was FUN. Her chart said one thing - her actual behavior was telling me something else. So I started asking questions. Because if you've been told “this is your Human Design” and you're sitting there thinking… “Um. That doesn't sound anything like me….” I want you to hear this reading. She LOVES one side of her business - the coaching. That's where her energy lights up. Then there's the agency side…. And suddenly we're having a very different conversation. So…. She told me she tends to have 4-8 projects going at once - but that meant a focus problem. I was like… “Let's slow down here.” 😂 Because there was something really interesting happening underneath that. We talked about why she keeps wanting different things on the go, what happens when she tries to force herself to narrow everything down, and how she could actually build a business that works with that. This one is for the woman who has 17 tabs open and somehow thinks SHE’S the problem.

What if you aren't supposed to work every day?? Seriously. What if there are days when you're supposed to be completely lit up and getting EVERYTHING done…. And days when you basically want to do nothing?? We got into this in one of my latest chart readings. (Once we looked at the rest of her life, it made a WHOLE lot more sense.) It’s probably not the work itself that’s draining you. It’s the constant pressure around it. The endless to-do list. The “if I hurry, I can fit something else in.” The skipped workout, no lunch, rushing to the next kid event. You can love your business and still be running yourself completely dry. In this episode, I’m talking about right-sizing your workload so you can actually keep going. Because your business is a marathon, and you’ve been treating it like a sprint. She has a bunch of projects going. A bunch of interests. A bunch of ideas…. And she's been trying to become a person who focuses on ONE thing. (Because apparently that's what we're supposed to do.) 😂 Except… what if that's actually the thing that's making her business harder?? This reading got into what happens when you stop treating your natural multi-focus as a character flaw and start figuring out how to build AROUND it instead. We already know your Human Design chart can't delegate your laundry. 😂 It can, however, tell us some really interesting things about how you want to work. And once we put that against your actual life?
