He did this amazing series each year, for a month, on a Tuesday...where he picked out local people that were contributing to the scene...He picked us because of Proper and Cultura parties..We came in, goofed out, and had the best time ever. I honored my feline friend, Charlie Parker, in a tribute show* on KCRW on Sept 24th. Little CP died on Sept 14th after a short battle with a very aggressive strain of calici virus. He was only 6 years old...not even...like, 5 years and 11 months. This literally broke me and I'm still having a hard time accepting that he is gone...
