One of the world's greatest golf courses, and the world's oldest continually played golf course. Both have a wealthy past when it comes to The Open. HCEG Murifeld has played host to The Open on 16 occasions with winners such as Nick Faldo, Jack Nicklaus, Walter Hagen and James Braid. Old Musselburgh was one of the original three venues to host The Open in its early days. The championship was played on the links 6 times between 1874 & 1889.
