On this episode, I’m discussing the logistics of travel. Getting to California was a long process, from applying to a programme to figuring out my visa. I break it all down, discussing time management and juggling different expectations. I dip into figuring out priorities and how to get the most out of your experience when you have a strict timeline.

This episode discusses fieldwork. I attempt to untangle what it actually means to ask certain research questions, as well as what it takes to start answering them. I found the process challenging, but ultimately it was also one of the most rewarding parts of doing research for me, from the people I met to the reflections I had months later.
