Ever wonder what the Chinese Cultural Revolution, a menstrual period, and a raspberry pie have in common... you probably didn't... and this episode probably won't give you a satisfying answer. But Sandra Marchetti tried to tackle that very topic with her first published poem Seeing (finally) the Commonality Between the Chinese Cultural Revolution and My Period, Or Pie. No Regrets

My Bad Poetry ·

2026/05/26

The only regret Aaron may have is not checking his microphone before recording. He sounds like he's in a tin can! This episode includes an abandoned poem found on a loose leaf of college lined paper in Aaron's old stuff. It's about love lost or never pursued...for good reason? Or maybe it was left unfinished for a better reason. Dave plays with homophones in his hastily written poem of the week. My Bad Poetry Episode 8.19: "No Regrets"End Poem from a Real Poet: "The

Michael VanCalbergh makes an historic third appearance on the show, bringing one from his past that he just can't seem to put down.
