This is another composition I worked on at the Banff Centre. Thank you to my voice coach, Dan, who helped me discover a new way of singing, as I had always performed all my songs in exactly the same style. I like to say he brought out my real voice. Recent strong studio production values also made a big difference. Originally, this piece was a folk song when I performed it live, but I always envisioned it as a more classical work. Ghost Watch

I composed this song for a project recently. The inspiration was my late sister Janey. After she died in 2010, I kept thinking that I saw her on city streets, around corners, in malls, everywhere. It was so eerie. It was like she was still with me.
