各位兄弟姊妹，今天是教理第246條，問題是：「聖堂內部有那些特殊的地方？」首先，我們要抓住那個重心——「聖堂是祈禱之所」，所以聖堂裡特別地方，全部都要跟祈禱有關。否則，等於沒意思。聖堂不應該有那些與祈禱無關的地方，所有聖堂的空間都必須與祈禱有關，幫助我們的祈禱。所以最重要的就是祭台。為什麼？因為祭台是我們朝拜天主、欽崇天主父的地方，尤其是天主父，經過耶穌基督在祭台上。祭台就是耶穌基督，是祂的身體，盛載著恩寵。在上面祝聖聖體聖血，我們要圍繞祭台，一起舉心向上。因此祭台為人而言，是我們聚會的中心，圍繞祭台；也代表著我們走向天父的階梯，耶穌就是這個階梯、這個祭台，祂就是中保。除此之外，就是聖體櫃。聖體櫃是放置聖體的地方，耶穌基督親臨的所在。所以剛才說祭台代表聖父，聖體櫃則代表聖子。接著大家很容易會想：聖神在哪裡呢？就是聖油。以往我們不太重視聖油放在哪裡，現在越來越多聖堂，特別是新落成的聖堂，都會有一個特別的地方安放聖油，在那裡表達聖神的臨在，有至聖聖油、慕道者聖油等等。聖父、聖子、聖神之外，團體聚會當中最重要的位置，若說主教座堂，首先就是主教的位置。主教座堂的外文是Cathedral，來自拉丁文Cat
